Today I made the Old-fashioned Buttermilk Biscuits from Carole Walters book. They're incredibly delicious! I spread mine with grape jelly and it tasted great, but would've been better with strawberry jam.
Sicne you're only supposed to role the dough once, I rolled the scraps in melted butter then in a mixture of cinnamon, sugar, brown sugar and cocoa powder. But 'em in a pan and baked. I've seen stuff like this done before and have always wanted to make it. ^^

Heh, I was thinking about making biscuits today, but just didn't feel like baking anything.
Yours look really good, very fluffy and crunchy on the outside. Interesting what you did with the scraps, sort of like "snails", where you take leftover pie dough bits and toss it with butter and cinnamon sugar, then bake it. I usually re-roll my biscuit scraps anyway, but one time I'm going to do that instead.
